Want 'Dhadkan 2' to be made with Ahan Shetty, Akshay Kumar's son Aarav and Shilpa Shetty's daughter Samisha: Suniel Shetty

Suniel Shetty is a bonafide star. Be it his onscreen energy or his offscreen charming persona, the actor never fails to delight his fans with his presence. While Suniel has been a part of some iconic films in the 90s and 2000s, Dhadkan holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. Co-starring Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar, the love-triangle is still admired by millions and why not? Now, as the Dharmesh Darshan directorial is about to clock 2 decades in August this year, Suniel is already thinking about its sequel. Well, yes. The 58-year-old actor, during an interview with a leading daily, told that he wants Dhadkan 2 to be made with his son Ahan Shetty, Akshay's son Aarav Bhatia and Shilpa's two-month-old daughter Samisha Shetty Kundra. Giving a further plot twist for the second edition, he said this time, Ahan should get the heroine unlike the original where Shilpa left Suniel for Akshay.

“Hopefully, Dharmesh Darshan and Venus will produce Dhadkan 2 with my son Ahan Shetty and Akshay Kumar’s son and now also with Shilpa Shetty’s daughter (laughs). In the sequel, Ahan will get the heroine as in Dhadkan, Shilpa left me for Akshay. However, her daughter is very cute and too small now,” Suniel told.

Dhadkan, released on August 11, 2000, was produced by Ratan Jain of Venus Worldwide Entertainment. The film also starred Mahima Chaudhry.

Talking about Suniel, he was last seen in Rajinikanth's Darbar. He is currently working with Manchu Vishnu in Mosagallu. Apart from this, Suniel will be seen in Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea. It is said that the actor is being considered to star as the antagonist in Allu Arjun's pan-India film titled Pushpa. However, there is no official confirmation about the same.
