The trailer of the upcoming action-drama Dabangg 3 starring Salman Khan as Robin Hood cop Chulbul Pandey sent fans into a zone of excitement, naturally. Since then, they have been waiting with bated breath to watch the actor pack some punches, crack some hilarious one-liners and showcase his lover boy side onscreen. With the film's theatrical release inching closer, the makers have been leaving no stone unturned to build up the curiosity by introducing us to some foot-tapping, melodious and fun numbers from their jukebox at regular intervals. After much wait, the makers launched the song of the year Munna Badnaam Hua at a grand launch in the city on Saturday.

During the event, Salman was joined by the director of the film Prabhudheva, who has also choreographed the song. Apart from him, Warina Hussain, who stars in the song attended the launch with the lead actress Saiee Manjrekar. At the event, Salman and Prabhudheva, after setting the screens on fire with their electrifying performance, taught the audience the signature step of Munna Badnaam and injected fun into the atmosphere.

Apart from that, Prabhudheva revealed the story behind conceptualising the signature step for Hud Hud Dabangg which acts as Salman's character Chulbul Pandey's introductory song.

Salman, who has a great amount of contribution to the song, disclosed the secret behind ideating Munna Badnaam over Munni Badnaam which has been synonymous with the Dabangg franchise.

Talking of Dabangg 3, the film, directed by Prabhudheva and produced by Arbaaz, Salman and Nikhil Dwivedi, stars Salman, Sonakshi Sinha, Saiee Manjrekar, Sudeep, Mahesh Manjrekar and Pramod Khanna. It is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019.
