Aamir Khan seeks blessings at Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib in Punjab during 'Laal Singh Chaddha' shoot

Aamir Khan, with the announcement of Laal Singh Chaddha, took his fans and avid cinema watchers by pleasant surprise. The film, which was officially confirmed by the actor on his 54th birthday in March this year, within no time, became the highly awaited and anticipated films of 2020. Now that Laal Singh Chaddha has gone on floors in Chandigarh, the excitement shot up to another level. An addition to the buzz was the first character look poster of Aamir as Laal Singh Chaddha that was unveiled a few days ago. 

As the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha is progressing ahead in full swing in Chandigarh and areas in Punjab, Aamir, paid a visit to the Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib in Punjab’s Ropar district. Dressed in a white shirt and saffron turban, the actor sought blessings of the Divine. During his visit, Aamir was honoured with a siropa, an honourary sacred cloth by the Gurudwara management.

Speaking of Laal Singh Chaddha, the film apart from Aamir, stars Kareena Kapoor Khan along with Manav Vij and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni. It will be produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions. Laal Singh Chaddha, which will release on Christmas 2020, will star Aamir as a Sardar and will be shot across 100 real locations. For Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir will be sporting the look of a Sardar for the first time and will be seen sporting a Karah gifted by Gippy Grewal throughout.
