The upcoming rom-com Pati, Patni Aur Woh, starring Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar undoubtedly falls amongst the most anticipated films of the year. Ever since the film was announced earlier this year, avid cinema watchers and fans of the actors were sent into a zone of excitement. Adding to the exhilaration was a hilarious trailer. While it isn't an unknown fact that this project is the remake of B R Chopra's 1978 released film by the same name, but did you did that the idea of the remake was given to the makers by Akshay Kumar? Well, apparently yes. During an interview with an entertainment magazine, the producer of Pati, Patni Aur Woh, Juno Chopra, revealed that when the Mission Mangal star had visited his office, he suggested him to remake his own grandfather's film.

“The idea to remake the film was suggested by Akshay Kumar. He had come home to meet us one day. That’s when he asked us why we were not remaking Pati Patni Aur Woh, which was made under our own banner,” Juno told during the interview.
