'Shine on my friend,' says Akshay Kumar as he unveils Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior's latest poster

Ajay Devgn's and Saif Ali Khan's magnum opus period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has managed to create a positive stir across the industry and has sent fans of the actors into a zone of excitement. The film that marks the collaboration of Ajay and Saif after Omkara in 2006 also plays witness to the reunion of the former with his wife Kajol onscreen after a couple of years. Not just this, but with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Ajay will walk past the 100 film mark and has completed a whopping 30 years in Bollywood recently. Marking the same milestone, B-Town has been extending their love and support to Ajay and the film. Shah Rukh Khan, on Monday, unveiled a unique poster of the historical drama which was an amalgamation of the Singham actor's films. And now, Akshay Kumar, on Tuesday, joining the Bollywood brigade, released a fresh poster of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior on his Twitter account. 

Akshay, while sharing the poster, recalled his journey with his Suhaag co-star and admired his growth over the years. Adding further, he showered good wishes on Ajay for his future projects. "We started our journey in this industry together...30 years ago. And I’ve seen your graph only grow from strength to strength. And as you are all set to mark your century with #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior,I wish you nothing but lots of love and luck.Shine on my friend," wrote Akshay, who will be sharing the screen space with Ajay in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is based on the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670 which was fought between Tanaji Malusare, a commander of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Udaybhan. Saif plays Rajput officer, Udaybhan Rathod, who served under Mughal army chief Jai Singh while Kajol will be seen as Ajay's onscreen wife. The film is directed by Om Raut and will release on January 10, 2020. The film will be releasing in 3D.
