Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan are two stars that enjoy unprecedented fandom and box office success. The actors’ popularity and box office prowess has stood the test of time. They have also shared screen space in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge that also featured Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead. There were reports that the will be clashing at the box office with their respective releases next year on Eid, a festival which Salman has always claimed at the theatres. However, the clash was averted as Akshay’s film Sooryavanshi decided on a different date.
This time around, there is some happy news for the actors’ fans as Salman’s Dabangg 3 trailer that is releasing online today will be attached to Akshay’s Housefull 4 that is gearing up for release. Sajid Nadiadwala who is the producer of Housefull 4 revealed that when he met Salman to talk about his upcoming film Kick 2 the fact came up that Dabangg 3’s trailer will be ready by the time Housefull 4 releases. Hence it was mutually agreed to attach Dabangg 3’s trailer to the release of Housefull4.
Nadiadwala said that nothing could be bigger on Diwali than Salman and Akshay joining hands. He told a leading daily, “We realized that the Dabangg 3 trailer would be ready by the time we release Housefull 4. The idea appealed to us as nothing can be bigger than Salman and Akshay coming together for Diwali.” He also said that he would be keen to cast the two superstars once again in a film but right now both are busy with their lucrative projects.
