Kangana Ranaut, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala and several Bollywood celebs wish Rekha on her 65th birthday

Veteran actress Rekha might not be active on social media but that didn't stop her fans and admirers from celebrating her 65th birthday in the virtual world. Rekha, who is considered to be one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood and an eternal beauty, turned 65 on October 10.

Celebrities and social media users took out time to send their good wishes. Aditi Rao Hydari, writer-director Shagufta Rafique, Manisha Koirala and several others took to Twitter to wish Rekha.

Actress Kangana Ranaut's team took to Instagram and Twitter to wish Rekha on her special day. "When good vibes attract like-minded people. During one meeting, #Rekha ji told #Kangana that if she ever had a daughter, she would be like her! Here's wishing #KanganaRanaut's godmother Rekha ma'am a very happy birthday," the post read. 

One Twitter user wrote: "She's an epitome of beauty, elegance. Her acting made everyone laugh, cry, and her dance make as crazy. The Ageing Diva. She has class. She sets a wonderful example for girls, while another wrote: "Inspiration and idol of every woman in general. Every actress wants to touch you in acting, beauty, appearances and expression. Every female actors' role model."

Rekha entered showbiz as a child artist in the 1966 Telugu film Rangula Ratnama. She went on to do projects such as Namak Haraam, Nagin, Jaani Dushman, Mr. Natwarlal, Silsila, Ijaazat, Umrao Jaan, Khoon Bhari Maang, Zubeidaa, Bhoot, and Koi... Mil Gaya. There's an enigmatic, beautiful and reserved aura around her personality. When not working, she fiercely guards her personal life. Her love life has always under scrutiny, but she has never addressed it openly.

Over the years, she has also got tag of Bollywood's style icon, backed by her signature Kanjeevaram saris.
