Sidharth Malhotra's Marjaavaan postponed to November 15, makes way for Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Bala' for November 7

Sidharth Malhotra's and Riteish Deshmukh's Marjaavaan, with its intense trailer and a stellar cast, teamed with a strong storyline, has managed to build the right amount of anticipation. And as the film inched closer to its release date, fans were excited to catch their favourite star duo, Riteish and Sidharth together onscreen after Ek Villain. However, now, in the latest development, the audience has to wait for some more days as Marjaavaan's release date has been pushed ahead by a week. Well, yes. The producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar, on Thursday, on Twitter, announced that instead of November 8, 2019, Marjaavaan will now open at theatres on November 15, 2019. He also informed the audience that the decision was taken in order to make way for Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala, avoiding a box-office clash as the makers of the film share a great bond with him.

Well, although Marjaavaan has dodged the clash with Bala by getting a solo release, Ayushmann's film will still have to face competition with Sunny Singh's Ujda Chaman, which is scheduled for a November 8, 2019 release. Interestingly, Bala and Ujda Chaman feature their lead actors-Ayushmann and Sunny as young men suffering from premature balding. Not just this, on Thursday, when new posters of the films were unveiled, an uncanny resemblance between both can be easily identified.
