Badhaai Ho fame Gajraj Rao all set to turn director with a black comedy revolving around three brothers-in-law

Gajraj Rao won accolades for the 2018 social comedy, Junglee Pictures’ Badhaai Ho, co-starring Neena Gupta and Ayushmann Khurrana. The trio is alls et to reunite for Bhushan Kumar's and Aanand L Rai’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which marks the directorial debut of Hitesh Kewalya, who penned the original film on the subject of erectile dysfunction. The sequel is a take on homosexuality in a small Indian town and Gajraj has been shooting with the team in Varanasi. The cast and crew of the film will shoot for over a month with a couple of days break in between. In the film, Gajraj and Neena will be playing the Tripathis from Allahabad, with Jitendra Kumar as their son. “Neena ji has an amazing range as an actor,” the actor cannot stop praising his co-star during an interaction with a leading daily. 

While we are looking to see them yet again, we hear that Gajraj is all set to make his directorial debut with a black comedy next year. Confirming the same, he told the daily, “It’s a black comedy revolving around the conflict between three brothers- in-law. The story travels from Rajasthan to Kolkata." Well, we certainly cannot wait.

Meanwhile, the actor will also be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s Made In China as Abhay Chopra, a crooked motivational speaker. The film features Rajkummar Rao, Boman Irani and Mouni Roy and Gajraj is elated with his special appearance. “Now, I’m getting more such substantial roles along with good remuneration. God is kind,” he signed off by saying.
