'You're not this guy, right?,' asked Mira Rajput on watching her husband Shahid Kapoor as Tommy Singh in 'Udta Punjab'

Shahid Kapoor has been amongst those actors who have taken forward the trend of difficult, dark and extremely intense role with films like Kaminey, Udta Punjab and the recently released Kabir Singh. This clear transformation from a handsome and calm man in reel to the rowdy and angered person in films has not just taken us aback but also stunned the actor's wife Mira Rajput. Just as we were in awe of Shahid in Udta Punjab, which was hands down his most challenging and superbly portrayed role, Mira couldn't believe that Tommy Singh is actually her husband. During an interview with a magazine along with Mira, Shahid revealed how she reacted to his character and expressed her disbelief.

"We sat together on a sofa and somewhere around the interval she had moved five feet away to the other edge. She looked at me and said, ‘You’re not this guy, right? Is this guy anywhere inside you? Tell me now while I can still walk away!," Shahid told during the interview. Well, Mira, we do second your reaction and disbelief, all thanks to Shahid's perfect portrayal of Tommy Singh.
