It was yesterday that Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions announced that the first look of the biopic on India's first Air Force woman officer Gunjan Saxena, starring Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, will be unveiled on Thursday morning. Now as promised, Janhvi's first look from Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl has been unveiled with a tagline, 'Ladkiyan Pilot Nahi Banti' - something that Gunjan Saxena was told. Dressed in a multi-coloured (Green, white, yellow, red and black) sweater, Janhvi as Gunjan has her eyes set on the sky as she release a paper plane into the air.
Sharing this first look of adorable Janhvi, Karan wrote, "She was told ki ladkiyan pilot nahin banti...but she stood her ground and wanted to fly! Gunjan Saxena - #TheKargilGirl" He also revealed the release date of the film as March 13, 2020.
Directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Dharma Productions in association with Zee Studios, Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl stars Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Vineet Kumar and Manav Vij in pivotal roles.
