Is Sara Ali Khan finding it difficult to choose between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and a big-budget multi-starrer film?

With Bollywood's current obsession with sequels and remakes, speculations surrounding Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 being on cards has been generating a strong buzz lately. What's more? Anees Bazmee, better known for comedy films like Ready, Singh Is Kinng and Welcome, will reportedly be replacing Priyadarshan as the director as he wants to explore the space of horror comedy. Now according to a report in a trade portal, Sara Ali Khan has been approached to play the leading lady in the film. Not just that, Sara is being considered for another big-budget multi-starrer film that is going to be directed by an A-list director.

"While Khan is keen on being part of the Anees Bazmee directed second instalment of the horror-comedy franchise, she is finding it difficult to accommodate her dates between both these projects. The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are speculatively planning to release the film in the first half of 2020 and start the shoot this November. But the young actor has other commitments as a result of which she is stuck between a rock and a hard place," added the report.

So, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and a big-budget multi-starrer film, we wonder what projec will Sara take as her next.

Coming to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, several publications have been claiming that it will be Kartik Aaryan, who would step into Akshay Kumar's shoes for the sequel. However, it looks like the news of Kartik playing the lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was nothing but a rumour as Akshay, in an interaction with a leading daily, bursted the bubble around the much-awaited film. When asked if he will be acting in the sequel to Bhool Bhulaiya, Akshay revealed, “We’ll be announcing it soon." Well, who better suited than Akshay himself to take the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise ahead.
