Batla House Box Office Day 1: John Abraham's cop-thriller gets an excellent opening

After much anticipation, John Abraham's Batla House released on Independence Day.  The film has been receiving amazing reviews from everyone. The action-thriller directed by Nikkhil Advani has garnered 14.59 crores on its first day. 

Despite not being able to deliver the film content at some centers due to the suggested changes as per the honourable court, Batla House based on the controversial 2008 encounter opens to a fabulous start. With the total budget of 47 crores including the COP & PnA, Batla House has already recovered 40 crores from the satellite, digital and music rights.

Coupled with John's popularity and the gripping storyline, the film is expected to do well on the weekend with strong word of mouth. The film has released in 2750 screens across the country with 9750 shows as well as strongly marked its hold in 325 centers overseas.

Batla House also staring Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani (Emmay Entertainment),  John Abraham (JA Entertainment) and Sandeep Leyzell (Bake My Cake Films).
