24 years after Govinda and Karisma Kapoor created magic on the big screen and made everyone laugh out loud with their romantic comedy Coolie No 1, David Dhawan is back in the game by making its remake. He has reached Bangkok to start the shoot of the new film with a fresh take starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead.
Writer Farhad Samji shared a video on social media from the first day of Coolie No 1. In the video, Farhad is seen making the big announcement. On the other hand, Varun had shared a hilarious video yesterday where we can see him getting ready to don his character. He can be seen shaving and trying on different looks. Varun made the video funny by using different apps. He captioned the video as, “Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive-Elbert Hubbart. In the video, Varun can be seen saying, "I am getting ready for Coolie No 1 and removing my beard so that I become Raju, coolie." Apparently, the film is an adaptation of the original. It is slated to release on May 1, 2020.
