On Tuesday evening, the makers of Kangana Ranaut's and Rajkummar Rao's dark comedy film JudgeMentall Hai Kya made the trailer available on social media platforms. Soon after, Varun Dhawan expressed his views on the trailer on his official Twitter account. Varun not only lauded the trailer by calling it 'mast' but also said that it 'looks like a lot of fun.' Little did the October actor know that he is on the way to get trolled despite giving such good comment. The one who trolled him was none other than Kangana's elder sister Rangoli Chandel. Rangoli, like a protective sibling, jumped to Kangana's side and criticised Varun for not mentioning her name in the appreciation comment. Rangoli slammed him by saying, "Kangana ka bhi naam likh dete sir!! Wo bhi kisi ko bachi hai usne bhi mehnat ki hai !!!"
Without wasting any time, Varun promptly replied to Rangoli and made his point clear that by writing lead actors, he meant the whole cast including Kangana too. " Loving everyone from satish sir, Hussain,raj and specially Kangana aur lead cast ka wohi matlab tha maam. Best wishes," Varun wrote.

JudgeMentall Hai Kya is an erotic black comedy orbiting around a murder. Rajkummar plays the role of Keshav while Kangana is Bobby. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shaailesh R Singh. Kanika Dhillon is the writer of the film while it is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi. JudgeMentall Hai Kya is scheduled to release on July 26, 2019.
Speaking of Varun, he is currently gearing up for his upcoming dance-based film Street Dancer 3D which is scheduled for a release over the Republic Day 2020 weekend. He will subsequently appear in Coolie No. 1 with Sara Ali Khan. It will release on May 1, 2020.
