Can't translate real emotions on screen, says Kriti Sanon who finds acting a tricky profession

Kriti Sanon is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous and talented actresses in Bollywood. The actress never fails to experiment with unique, strong and quirky roles. Be it Bareilly Ki Barfi or Luka Chuppi, Kriti stunned the audience with her natural act and now, she is back on the screen with yet another quirky drama titled Arjun Patiala. Kriti, while giving an interview with a media agency for the film spoke at length of how tricky the film profession can be. She also said a person's real emotions can never be translated on screen.

"You can't translate your real emotions on screen as that will stay forever and you can let any part of your personal life mess that up. It is tricky to be in this profession because we have to put Kriti, the person aside and focus on Kriti, the actor. It is tougher," Kriti told the agency.

Kriti further revealed that while shooting for her last screen outing Luka Chuppi with Kartik Aaryan, she was going through a messed up personal life. She also said it is necessary for an actor to switch on and off as an actor to get the role right. "As actors, we can have tension and stress in our life too and when you work on a film like this (Arjun Patiala) you have to switch off from it completely and turn into a person who is having fun and is cracking jokes. It can get tricky. While filming for Luka Chuppi I was a little messed up in my personal life but I had to get my comic timing right. It is important to switch on and off as an actor," the actress quoted.

Speaking of the comedy film roles, Kriti gushed that she loves the space and gets attracted to funny and quirky scripts. Not just this, she also told that she enjoys watching comedy films. Adding further, Kriti said her aim remains to entertain the audience through comic films. "I like this space. That is one of the reasons I am getting attracted to these kinds of scripts. I also like watching such films. And as an actor, I tend to do films that I like to watch. Comedy is much needed in today's time as there is a lot of stress in everybody's life. I want to entertain people, make them laugh. It is a fun genre to be a part of," Kriti added.

Talking of Arjun Patiala, Kriti is paired opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She plays the role of a crime journalist while Diljit is a quirky, small-town cop. Varun Sharma has also been cast in the lead role. Arjun Patiala is scheduled to release on July 26, 2019. Apart from that, Kriti will be seen in Housefull 4 with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol. The film will release during the Diwali weekend this year.
