Pooja Hegde and Shriya Pilgaonkar roped in to play female leads in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Mumbai Saga’?

Last week Sanjay Gupta had announced his directorial venture Mumbai Saga with a stellar star cast. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film is set in the 1980s-90s and will revolve around all that went into making Bombay into Mumbai. The film is a gangster drama with an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Amole Gupte and others.

Now, according to a trade website, the names of the leading actresses of the film have been revealed. Apparently, Pooja Hegde has been roped in to star opposite John Abraham while Shriya Pilgaonkar will be romancing Emraan Hashmi. The film is going to mount the sets by next month and will be shot majorly in Mumbai.

Mumbai Saga is looking for a 2020 release. Sanjay Gupta has completed 25 years in the industry and will be returning to helm Mumbai Saga once again as director. He has already created a casting coup of sorts with the film and increased the excitement about the film.
