Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in Aanad L Rai's Zero is all set to carry an all-new avatar for her next. The actress impressed the audience with films like Pari, Sanju, Sui Dhaaga and Zero. Now, we hear that the actress may soon be seen in a cop drama.
While details about the project, like the director and producer are being kept under wraps for now, news reports state that the hard-hitting subject will present Anushka in an all new look. “Anushka is constantly looking for quality scripts and it seems like she has found a brilliant one that will see her play the role of a woman police officer,” says our source, adding, “This is the first time she will be seen in this avatar as she will don the khaki. The project is extremely close to her heart.”
The actress, who was also seen in films like Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, Sanju and Pari last year, is thrilled with the story and work on the script is currently underway. Our informer says, “Anushka has always backed projects that are strong on content and this story has just blown her away. It’s a challenging role and will require her to undergo intense prep before she begins filming. The way she works, she will be devoting a lot of time getting into the skin of her character.”
