Not all Superheroes wear capes! 5 reasons why Hrithik Roshan is that every teacher who is instrumental behind their students’ success

In spite of all the controversies surrounding Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30, the actor is back with a bang with the film’s trailer. Super 30’s trailer was released today and within no time has created a positive buzz amongst the audience. The film is a biopic on Patna-based math genius and founder of the Super 30 educational programme, Anand Kumar.

Super 30 was embroiled in controversies right from the #MeToo allegations levied against its director Vikas Bahl who was first dropped from the film’s credit and then on Anand Kumar himself for misquoting his students’ success rate at IIT-JEE. The film’s release date also suffered quite a few changes as it was clashing with big budget films. However, in Super 30’s trailer, we once again get to see Hrithik with his impeccable acting skills. Here’s a look at five things that Super 30’s trailer nails effectively.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan’s avatar in the film is one of his best probably right behind his Koi Mil Gaya’s character’s look. His tanned, lean, Bihari teacher who is not afraid to toil in a dusty classroom with no fans trying to ensure his students become meritorious and achieve their dreams is commendable. His physical transformation is commendable but his Bihari accent could have been better.

The students

The students that make the Super 30 batch are an eclectic bunch of talented actors. With one-line dialogues, they manage to leave a lasting impression with their expressions and charisma. They are the real heroes of Super 30 and should be watched out for. Hopefully, they get meatier and full-fledged roles in more films.

Aditya Srivastava

The popular actor who is best known for his role in the TV series CID as Senior Inspector Abhijeet proves to be a scene-stealer in Super 30 trailer. He commanders almost equal screen time in the trailer as Hrithik and is pretty impressive as the head of the coaching institute that employs Hrithik.

The setting

Super 30 seems pretty authentic in its setting in Bihar. The film’s trailer gives a sneak peek into the film’s background and since it is almost to the point the battle is half won.

The dialogues and the VFX

Super 30’s trailer shows how numbers can be intriguing and magical. The most hated and feared subject Mathematics is shown to be the most interesting one through amazing VFX that helps the students in the film visualize the workings of machines as well to attain the right answer to a sum.

Super 30 also stars Nandish Sandhu, Amit Sadh, Pankaj Tripathi and Mrunal Thakur. The film is slated to release on July 12.
