Earlier PeepingMoon.com had exclusively informed its readers that filmmaker Karan Johar will jet off to New York to ring in his 47th birthday and now, the news has been confirmed by KJo himself. Karan posted a picture on Instagram with Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, who is said to be recovering from cancer at New York’s Sloan Kettering Hospital. Karan shared a heartfelt note along with the adorable selfie he posted, calling both Neetu and Rishi Kapoor "strong...resilient and full of positivity".
KJo captioned the photo, "My absolutely favourite couple of Indian cinema....I grew up loving them and am so privileged to know them....strong...resilient and full of positivity! @neetu54 and chintuji are absolutely amazing and so full of love!! Thank you for your energy! Love you!!!"
KJo will be bringing in the birthday in NYC. He left early Wednesday morning. He will be turning 47 on May 25 and ahead of his big day, he made sure to visit his "absolutely favourite couple of Indian cinema" Neetu and Rishi Kapoor.
