Kangana Ranaut might not have found support from popular actors and the filmmakers who make news every now and then but she surely has impressed the veteran actors of Bollywood. After receiving praise from Rekha, Waheeda Rehman and Asha Parekh, now Anupam Kher has joined the list of senior actors who have praised her work, determination, and grit. Anupam has backed Kangana and praised her performance as Rani Laxmi Bai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
During a ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Twitter, a fan requested the veteran actor to “tweet in her support as no one from Bollywood had acknowledged her historical drama. Anupam without wasting much time tweeted in support of her and called her “brilliant” and a “rockstar”.

Kangana had been seething with anger as she has vowed to “expose” Bollywood for allegedly ganging up against her and brushing her ambitious film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi under the carpet. At an event, she lashed out at the industry for keeping mum about her film. She hit out at several Bollywood celebrities for “shamelessly” asking her to promote their films, but not bothering to even attend the screenings of her films. The film which has Kangana sharing credit with Krish as co-director is doing pretty well at the box office and is inching towards the Rs 100 crore mark.
