Rajasthan police welcomes Gully Boy Ranveer in Bollywood style; invite Deepika with 'Band Baaja Baarat'

Ranveer Singh headed to Jalore, Rajasthan for a wedding an treated his fans by posting a picture with the state's police officers. In his tweet, the actor also thanked the Rajasthan Police for their support and totally won over everyone's hearts. However, it was a rather filmy reply from the Rajasthan Police that left everyone amazed and we must say, it is something even Ranveer wouldn't have anticipated.

On their official handle, Rajasthan police added a distinct Bollywood flavour by welcoming Gully Boy Ranveer and stated names of several of his hit films, including Simmba and Bajirao Mastani. Add to this, the tweet had a certain reference to Ranveer's wife Deepika Padukone as well.

In the tweet, it was mentioned that while it was a delight for the Rajasthan Police to be with the actor, the next time he is in the state with wife Deepika, people will welcome them with Band Baaja Baraat. The tweet read as, "You came like a Gully Boy Ranveer but turned out you were much more - Bajirao Mastani & eventually a super cop Simmba. Always a delight to be with you. Next time you are in Raj with Deepika, people will come with Band Baaja Baraat."

Well, it is certainly interesting to see the enthusiasm and creativity of the Rajasthan Police and it seems they are not far behind the Mumbai Police, which is known for its quirkiness on Twitter.

Meanwhile, take a look at Ranveer's pictures as he was papped at Mumbai's private airport today:

On the work front, Ranveer's next Gully Boy, starring Alia Bhatt, is slated to release on February 14.
