Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a dreamy wedding at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur and her mother Madhu Chopra, during an interview with a leading daily, said that it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of her daughter’s in-laws Paul Kevin and Denise Jonas.
While speaking to the daily, Madhu Chopra said that Nick’s family was more than welcoming towards the intermingling of cultures while she added that she couldn’t have asked for a better son-in-law.
“Nick’s family members are such lovely human beings. They were completely fine with the blend of the cultures and Nick is immensely respectful and well-spoken. He makes sure everyone around him comfortable. He’s the best son-in-law one could ask for,” Madhu Chopra told the daily.
Nick and Priyanka married in a two-part wedding ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur – on December 1 in a Christian wedding and as per Hindu traditions on December 2. Only 225 guests and family members attended the ceremonies including mehendi and sangeet, and the two-part wedding in Jodhpur including Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma, Isha Ambani, Priyanka’s sister Parineeti Chopra, Nick’s brother Joe Jonas and his partner Sophie Turner.
Priyanka, during her Christian wedding, wore a white Ralph Lauren gown while designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee dressed her in a red lehenga choli for her traditional Hindu wedding.
