Kartik Aaryan, who was last seen in Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, has bagged another project produced by Bhushan Kumar, a leading daily reports. The yet-untitled project will be an Anees Bazmee directorial, tipped to be a romantic comedy.
Sources told the leading daily that Anees had been working on the script for quite some time while Kartik has been cast as a college student in the film.

“It’s a script that Anees has been working on for a while and will have his trademark elements. Kartik loved the story, he plays a college student and is expected to start shooting by mid-next year. Some portions will be shot in Mumbai but for the most part, it will be filmed abroad. Recce begins next year,” the source said, adding, “Kartik is a fan of Anees’ films and is really excited to work with him.”
Interestingly, the leading lady has not been finalised yet and the makers want to make it a fresh pairing, somebody Kartik has not worked with before.

Kartik, star of films Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Guest in London, will appear next in Luka Chuppi opposite Kriti Sanon. In fact, Kartik and Sara Ali Khan will reportedly star in Imtiaz Ali’s next project, apparently planned as a sequel to his 2009 film Love Aaj Kal, starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the principal roles. If all goes well, the project is expected to begin filming in February 2019.
