Abhishek Chaubey is coming up with a film titled Sonchiriya featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ranvir Shorey, and Manoj Bajpayee who earlier helmed films like Udta Punjab, Dedh Ishqiya and Ishqiya. Sonchiriya revolves around Chambal dacoits and is set in the 1970s. This will be the first time Sushant and Bhumi will be seen starring together.
The teaser released a while back and it takes us through a journey of rebels and dacoits who are in search of a Sonchiriya (Golden bird). The teaser features the star-cast in their rusty avatar and is set in a village back in the 70s. Sushant, Manoj and Ranvir fight it out in the teaser with utmost rivalry and deception.
Bhumi who plays the role of a villager wife in the film shared a new poster of the film this morning announcing the teaser.

The film promises to be a power packed action film giving a glimpse of the glorious years of dacoits in central India. Shot in the valleys of Madhya Pradesh, Sonchiriya presents an ensemble cast with an intriguing storyline.
