Abhishek Bachchan reveals Aishwarya's 'practical acting advice' to him during their first film

Abhishek Bachchan is making his return to Bollywood films after a hiatus of two years with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan, also starring Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu. The actor is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming film, which is slated to release on September 14. Interestingly, during one of the interviews, he revealed a 'practical acting advice' that his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave him during their first film together and it is certainly hilarious.

When asked about the most practical advice he had received in terms of acting skills, Abhishek quipped, "My wife told me, 'Check your teeth, check your nose.' Suddenly, the audience realizes for time immemorial, 'That’s what he had for lunch.' In our first film, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, that’s what she said."

We totally agree with Aishwarya's sense of giving THIS advice rather than a philosophical one and to say the least, it has certainly stuck in Abhishek's head even after so many years.

Meanwhile, apart from Aish's advice, Abhishek also spoke about his friend Hrithik Roshan's advice, which he gave after the release of Dhoom 2. Talking about it, he said, "Hrithik said, 'Your struggle starts now.' And I was like, 'Ha? What have I been doing for so long?' 'You just gave your first hit, now the tough part starts. This is what’ll make you a better actor because now you have something to lose.’" Well, that does make a lot of sense.

Meanwhile, junior Bachchan was also prodded about the type of scene which is the hardest for him to perform, to which he replied, "Currently it’s the emotional scene, when you have to break down and cry... because in extreme anger and extreme sorry we tend to forget the character we are playing and become ourselves. To rein that in and direct it in a way that it’s the characters is the most challenging for me."

Now we just cannot wait for him to carve his magic on the silver screen once again.
