Here’s why Ranbir is not pleased about the attention Taimur gets

We are all like Ranbir Kapoor. We do feel bad at the amount of attention that the tot gets from media and fans…and then we promptly rush off to check his latest class pic! Ranbir, who has been on a promotional blitz for Sanju, has come out to put his concerns about Taimur across.

He maintains, “I love to see pictures of Taimur splashed across newspapers. People read everything that’s said about him with a lot of interest. But I am not too pleased about it. It is not healthy for a child to be noticed so much.”

This is in contrast to his quotes a few days ago, when he had revealed how he is one of Taimur’s biggest fans. When it was pointed out that the paparazzi hounds Taimur wherever he goes, and how he himself had a much less chaotic childhood in comparison, Ranbir made a startling but quite understandable revelation…

“To be honest, I stalk his pictures because I am also obsessed. Because when you see him it just warms your heart. And when he has his haircut or how he walks... I am a Taimur fan,” he had declared. He had also added, “I have had the opportunity and the good fortune to hold him and it felt quite surreal. It felt like holding royalty.”

Taimur’s family has been voicing their concern over the undue attention he attracts from paparazzi. His maternal grandpa Randhir Kapoor has spoken up and so has his paternal grandmother Sharmila Tagore. Mom Kareena too has spoken up about her discomfort with Taimur being under the constant media glare.

During the Veere Di Wedding promotions, Kareena said, “I want the paparazzi to stop chasing Taimur every day. It has been unnerving and scary. I can understand if it happened once or twice, here and there. But every day? Definitely not done.”

Recently Taimur was also papped in London, where he is holidaying with his parents. At the birthday picnic of aunt Karisma, no surprises for guessing that it was Taimur who was the cynosure of all eyes.

Yes, it cannot be ‘healthy’ as Ranbir points out, but hopefully, everyone is eventually able to keep calm about Taimur Ali Khan!
