From failing to recognise Taimur to stalking his pics, Ranbir has come a long way

So now we can safely say that everyone is a Taimur Ali Khan fan, ever since the irresistible tot’s uncle also admitted he cannot get enough of his pictures! In a recent interview with Rajeev Masand, the journalist mentioned the fact that the paparazzi hounds Taimur wherever he goes and how Ranbir himself had a less chaotic childhood in comparison…
At this point, Ranbir admitted with no trace of remorse, “To be honest, I stalk his pictures because I am also obsessed. Because when you see him it just warms your heart. And when he has his haircut or how he walks... I am a Taimur fan!”

He also declared that he has had the opportunity and the good fortune to hold him and it felt quite surreal. “It felt like holding royalty,” he quipped.

We bet mama Kareena is thrilled to hear this. Ranbir has come a long way from the time he failed to recognize Taimur not too long ago. It happened during the time he was extremely busy with the shoot of the Dutt biopic Sanju with Rajkumar Hirani. Ranbir had been occupied with the last leg of his much-delayed production venture Jagga Jasoos around the time Taimur was born in December.

Later he confessed that he had met Taimur when he was three-months-old but he failed to recognize him when he saw his recent pictures. Adding that the little toddler had got the best of both his parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir had also quipped that they were just looking forward to him joining films soon!

Answering Masand’s question about his childhood, Ranbir recounted how he would ‘bask in the glory’ of his parents’ fame when he was young. “We had our own share of public spotlight. Of course, camera phones weren’t there, paparazzi wasn’t there. The kind of attention you got in school, when you went outside, people knew that me and my sister were Rishi Kapoor’s children. It felt good in a way that people looked at us in a nice way. We had a nice time basking in our parents’ glory,” he said.
