Karan Johar admits he has copied stuff too but he fears Diet Sabya now

Pegging itself as Hollywood's ‘Diet Prada’s fierce desi sister,’ Bollywood fashion industry's new watchdog, Diet Sabya is committed to reporting on ‘people knocking each other off!’…and they sure have grabbed eyeballs. Karan Johar appreciates the same by saying 'he's 'nailing it'!

When asked about Diet Sabya, an anonymous Instagram handle which points out the designs copied blatantly from other fashion designers, Karan got all excited and said, "I'm on DM with Diet Sabya but I don't know who he is."

Well, with Karan talking to the feared critic on Instagram's DM, we wonder what all they must've spoken about till date. Whatever it is, the stories must've been juicy for sure!

Further acknowledging their work, Karan told the media portal in an interview, " He's definitely nailing it. I was so paranoid, I also told Nikita (Jaisinghani, his stylist) about it. Because even we've copied stuff... but we've done it so seamlessly, that we've not been caught."

Diet Sabya posted a snippet of the said interview on Instagram. This:

According to the portal's Instagram post, they also spoke about nepotism, social trends and how real Bollywood is on social media.

Looks like everyone fears the careful eye of the industry's watchdog.

In an interview with a leading daily, creators of Diet Sabya had earlier said, "Copying isn’t cool and we will make sure the online universe knows that... About time serial offenders, influential or upcoming — be called out for their mediocrity,”

Needless to say, they're definitely doing a fab job at it.

On the work front, Karan is happy at the scores Raazi is achieving. With Dhadak releasing in July, Lust Stories releasing later next week and Kalank in the making, the director definitely has a lot on his plate right now.
