So, will you choose John or Harshvardhan on May 25?

The stage is set for a clash royale on May 25. While Bhavesh Joshi Superhero was always pegged to release on this date, things started hotting up when all the issues surrounding Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran were cleared, and it preps to hit the box office on May 25 as well.
This brings both the leading men – the edgy Harshvardhan and the dependable John in a direct confrontation at the turnstiles. We will be spoilt for choice!

Adventure with John

The film: Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran has already stirred up considerable interest with the full trailer that was recently released. The trailer showed John Abraham and Diana Penty clad in uniforms of the Indian army, who are apparently sent on a secret operation. The story is inspired by the real life Pokhran nuclear tests which took place in Rajasthan in 1998. The thrills are for real, as the film instils a sense of pride in our country’s history as it took its place as a nuclear power among the handful of countries worldwide. The hurdles faced in pulling off this covert operation successfully will make for some riveting moments onscreen.

The hero: Essaying the tough, intelligent and patriotic army officer, John is already impressive as he helms the secret operation. Real-life heroism is difficult to resist!

Action with Harshvardhan

The film: An action film, it centres around a group of young friends who want to continue doing the right thing and challenge the wrong. The regular, common man protagonist transforms into a superhero as he is destined to do bigger things. Also drawing influence from the DC and Marvel comics world, the film combines action and emotions, as a regular boy dons the mask as a result of frustration with the ills that plague society. The film promises some intense action and well-crafted hand combat fights, which have been designed by an international crew, and is shot at some never before seen locations in and around Mumbai.

The hero: Harshvardhan Kapoor plays a vigilante in the film. Having debuted with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s Mirziya, this interesting young actor is looking to make his mark with this unusual superhero story.
