Baby talk: Second child on the way for Mira and Shahid?

Baby talk is currently doing the rounds strongly. Industry watchers are laying bets that Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor, who had wed on July 7, 2015, are expecting another child. Certain images of Mira, sporting what appears to be a baby bump, are being used as ‘proof’ of her being in the family way. There has been no confirmation – or denial – of the news from the Kapoors themselves but that hasn’t stopped happy speculation!

Mira herself has made no secret of her desire to have another baby. Just last year, in July she had revealed that she would love to work, especially in a field that was creatively stimulating, but also allowed her time with family. “Perhaps something with food, or lifestyle,” she had mused, while admitting there was no deadline for it “because I am going to have another baby, and then decide.”

She has always been vocal about her priorities. “I am a homemaker and I am proud of the label. I love being home. I had a difficult pregnancy and now I want to spend every moment I can with my daughter,” she had said, post Misha’s birth. “I have a set of responsibilities on my plate and my future is ahead of me. I can finish all my responsibilities and then I will have nothing in my way.”

Mira had also stirred up a controversy when she had said that wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with her child and rush off to work. “Why did I have her? She is not a puppy, you know. I want to be there for her as a mother, seeing her grow up has, cannot be quantified.”
