SRK's GoT connect!

One will be living under a stone if they are not aware of the epic saga on TV – Game Of Thrones. And not-to-miss, the enigmatic character of Tyrion Lannister, the role of a dwarf brilliantly essayed by Peter Dinklage in the series.

As it is known that Shah Rukh Khan is playing a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s untitled film. And with recent reports to go by, SRK’s character is inspired by none other than Tyrion from GoT!

The sketch of Khan’s role is established with references from Tyrion Lannister, “who is happy and always celebrating his life. Shah Rukh will play a happy dwarf, who brings families together.” According to sources, the midget will make up for his lack of height with his tall deeds, as reported by a daily.

In George R. R. Martin ‘s Game of Thrones, Tyrion Lannister belongs to a royal family and is the brother of the queen (Cersei). Being a dwarf, he is often underestimated and hated by his peers. As the show progresses, Tyrion becomes one of the most important characters of the show, proving his worth to everyone in seven kingdoms.

Anand, in an earlier interview, had stated that his film will help SRK bounce back from all the past failures and stated, “With our film, I know I will rectify his relationship with the audience. I can sense what people are seeking. I will be honest to my craft and will work hard for my audience. I won't let the reactions to his last films cloud my head right now. I am here to deliver and I will do a damn good job of it. Right now, we are having fun at work and I won't let anything change that.”

Excited to see SRK in and as inspired by Tyrion Lannister?
