Producer Ekta Kapoor, after three successful seasons of her supernatural drama Naagin, is back with the fourth installment. Last month, she announced Nia Sharma as the first Naagin followed by Jasmin Bhasin as the second shape-shifting serpent. Now adding to the excitement, Ekta has shared the first promo of the upcoming supernatural-fantasy drama and introduced Vijayendra Kumeria as the male lead of the show.
The promo begins with Nia being attacked by goons, who then get beaten up by Vijayendra. Soon after he lifts Nia's dupatta and is shocked to see a huge snake that goes into a temple. When he follows it and pushed the temple door open, the snake takes the form of Jasmin's character. The caption of the post reads, "NAAGIN -BHAGYA KA ZAHREELA KHEL", which means a poisonous game of the destiny. The voiceover of the promo suggests that Naagin 4 will be focused on the past and present time.

Naagin, a fantasy bi-weekly drama aired on Colors and was undoubtedly the most successful series shelled out by Ekta. The show began in 2015 with Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani as the lead characters. Soon, the popularity of the show led to season 2 starring Mouni and Arjun with Karanvir Bohra. The third and longest-running series of the franchise saw a completely new cast with Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Pearl V Puri and Rakshanda Khan in central roles.
With Nia, Jasmin and Vijayendra joining the franchise, the excitement has surely shot up high. The premiere date of Naagin 4 is yet to be announced.
