Singing reality show Indian Idol is all set to return to the small screen with its next season. Apparently, to make the show grand on screen, the makers have roped in popular Art Director Omung Kumar. A close source informed us, "For the 11th season of Indian Idol, Omung Kumar has been signed as the show's art director. He is one of our industry's renowned art directors, production designers. So far, he has created iconic sets that have set the benchmark in the industry.”
Our source further added, “The makers have collaborated with him to give the set a more grand look which will attract the viewers. The theme for this season of Indian Idol is 'Ek Desh Ek Awaaz' and the entire set has been created keeping this theme into the mind.”
On the work front, Omung Kumar has worked as an art director in many films including Dil Hai Tumhara, Chameli, Sarabjit, Bhoomi and Mary Kom. On television, he has been a part of many shows like Bigg Boss, Mahabharata and many.
