After a month-long build up around the comeback of Karan Singh Grover to TV after a gap of almost six years as Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, finally, yesterday (June 17), the audience got a chance to witness the new Mr. Bajaj on-screen. To make his entry sequence special the channel aired the show for one hour. In fact, his entry sequence was publicized so much by the channel and the makers of the show that the wait was palpable. But guess what; it did not turn out as expected!
In this one-hour sequence, all the audience watched was Mr. Bajaj walking down the stairs with loud background music. It took almost 20 minutes for the viewers to see the real face of KSG as Mr. Bajaj. Most of his scenes with his office employees and union leader were shot in a very dramatic way.

Obviously, one was expecting something different from the makers; especially not this over-dramatic sequence. Also, so much hype was made around KSG stepping into Ronit Roy’s (original Mr. Bajaj) shoes but his entry sequence did not match Ronit’s attitude at all.
Well, it’s just the beginning. All we hope is Karan’s chemistry comes out good with Erica Fernandes in the upcoming episodes.
