Urvashi Dholakia, still known for her character Komolika in the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has come on-board as a contestant on Salman Khan’s upcoming TV production, Nach Baliye 9. And while it has been widely reported that she will be appearing in the dance-based reality show with ex-boyfriend Anuj Sachdeva, the actress refuses to divulge details.
“The show’s creative team is still in talks to figure out who would be the best match for me. It will be interesting. As far as chemistry goes, we will just have to wait and see how everything else works out,” said Urvashi.
Speaking about her decision to do the show, the actress revealed, “I took it up as I’ve always loved dancing and through this platform, I could learn so much more. For me, it’s like acting. I’ve always wanted to be on TV and not watch it from the outside, the same goes for dance! I recently shot a promo in a grand setup.”
Urvashi further added that she is a trained dancer. Shedding more light on it, she said, “That was many years ago, but it comes naturally to me. As far as prep for the show goes, we begin workshops shortly,” she says, adding that she is also looking forward to working with Salman. “I want to build a good rapport with him as long as I’m on the show.”
