Having two hosts in the show is a criminal waste of time; says Ravi Dubey

Television actor, Ravi Dubey believes that if there are two hosts in a show, its criminal waste of time. While speaking to a leading tabloid, the actor who is currently hosting a game reality show titled – Sabse Smart Kaun? opened up about his view on co-hosting a show with another actor.

When asked Ravi on why he doesn’t want to co-host a show with another actor, he replied, “In a reality show, there are around 15 contestants, three judges and a 44-minute time frame to justify the contestants and give them time to show their talent. Now, if you have two hosts, it’s a criminal waste of time. Rather than the two cracking jokes and indulging in useless banter, I would use that time in bringing something out from the contestants. Two hosts sometimes take away than add value to the show.”

The 34-year-old actor who rose to fame with daily soap is now eyeing for shorter commitments. “See, I will never ever deny the fact that I got fame, success, and money through a daily soap. But coming at this stage of my career, I am now looking for shorter commitments. I want to concentrate more on finite series now.  I have a lot of gratitude for people doing daily soaps but as of now, I am looking forward to other challenges,” Ravi Dubey said in a statement.

On the personal front, Ravi Dubey who is married to actress Sargun Mehta says he is not planning to start a family anytime soon. The couple completed eight years of togetherness earlier this year.

The actor said, "We both are doing very well in our respective careers. And are in a very good space. We are not planning to go the family way, just yet. It'll happen when the time is right."

On the work front, Ravi is seen hosting game show Sabse Smart Kaun?’and Sargun is busy shooting for her next film opposite Ammy Virk, titled Qismat.
