Thalaivi: Kangana Ranaut is an embodiment of grace as former Tamil Nadu CM late J Jayalalithaa in the latest still from her biopic

Kangana Ranaut is undoubtedly one of the finest actresses Bollywood has. Be it comedy or intense thriller, she has done it all. After delivering a splendid performance in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga, the actress is neck-deep busy with the shoot of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa's biopic titled Thalaivi. The film that pays an ode to the incredible work and a remarkable life Jayalalithaa lived, stands tall amidst fanfare. With the makers sharing a glimpse into her character looks on November 23, 2019, the excitement shot up to an all-time high. Now, in addition to the exhilaration, yet another still of Kangana as J Jayalalithaa was shared on social media platforms by the renowned trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.

In the still, we can see Kangana in the character of a younger Jayalalithaa who was a film actress and a phenomenal Bharatnatyam dancer. The picture has Kangana dressed in traditional Bharatnatyam costumes as she takes a perfect dance posture. An embodiment of grace and elegance, the actress cut out a royal picture in red and green.

Thalaivi will be released in three different languages namely Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The multi-lingual film is directed by AL Vijay while the script is written by Vijayendra Prasad. Apart from Kangana, Thalaivi stars Arvind Swami, who will play the role of the actress' onscreen mentor MGR. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R singh for Vibri Motion Pictures in association with Karma Media & Entertainment, Thalaivi will release on June 26, 2020.
