Box Office: Veere Di Wedding enters Rs 100 crore club in worldwide collection, Raazi, Parmanu continues its good run

Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania’s film Veere Di Wedding has become the latest entrant in the coveted Rs 100 crore club worldwide. Directed by Shashank Ghosh the women-centric film has been raking in money at the box office. The film has had a golden run at the box office and until Salman Khan’s Race 3 releases on Eid, the film has a good chance to collect as much money as it can.

The film has raked in more than Rs 75 crores in India business and it will be only a little while when it will cross the benchmark in India alone. The film based on female friendships broke the stereotype that female-centric films don’t work at the box office. It is also noteworthy that the film has an A-rating and yet managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.

Producer Ekta Kapoor was delighted with the film spinning money at the box office and took to Twitter to share the happy news.

On the other hand, John Abraham’s Parmanu-The Story of Pokhran, is also doing very well at the box office. There is no stopping the film based on the nuclear tests done by India in Pokhran under the Atal Bihari Vajpayee led government’s rule. Starring John, Diana Penty and Boman Irani in lead roles the film is not looking to bow down easily. The film has garnered Rs 58.24 crore in India business.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi is not looking to slow down anytime soon. After crossing the Rs 100 crore mark, the film has now fetched a whopping Rs 120.90 crore in India business. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Soni Razdan, Amruta Khanvilkar and Rajit Kapoor in pivotal roles.
