BO Report- Avengers: Infinity War crosses Rs 200 crore, Raazi gets a thumbs up, 102 Not Out picks up

Avengers: Infinity War is not looking to stop its dream run at the box office anytime soon as it has plummeted ahead in the race and become the fastest film to reach Rs 200 crore at the box office. Avengers: Infinity War has raked in Rs 261.46 crore worldwide. The film has become a blockbuster not only in the Hindi version but also in English, Tamil and Telugu.

The film brings the Avengers team and Guardians of the Galaxy team together and has an ensemble cast of Hollywood stars like Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Vin Diesel etc. which is the star attraction of the film.

Alia Bhatt’s Raazi which released this Friday received raving reviews from all corners. The critics have showered their blessings and the audiences have loved it. The film has earned Rs 7.53 crores on Day 1 of its release at the box office. Alia’s film got one of the biggest openings for a female-lead film. The film is going great guns in metros and major cities and the film has got huge publicity through word-of-mouth and is expected to rake in more moolah.

Raazi is the story of a female spy who gets married to a Pakistani Army officer and relates information to the Indian government during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapoor and Soni Razdan in pivotal roles besides Alia.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Jimit Trivedi starrer 102 Not Out which released last Friday on May 4, 2018, is also doing fairly good business. It has raked in Rs 29.55 crore till date and is looking up to pick up on the weekends. The film directed by Umesh Shukla is a laugh-a-riot and is receiving rave reviews from everyone.
