Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rubina Dilaik is emerging as one of the strongest contenders. Be it raising objection over rules to supporting her husband Abhinav Shukla like a doting wife, she has been winning hearts. Rubina, last week, spoke to Bigg Boss about not accepting the fact that host Salman Khan insulted Abhinav and her. An emotional Rubina broke down in the confession room and said she found it disrespectful on Salman's part to call Abhinav her personal 'saaman'.
Now, during Saturday's Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman spoke to her about the matter. He confronted her and said he is the host of the show and isn't their competition. The superstar further added that he said it back then because Abhinav wasn't much active in the initial weeks. Saying that Abhinav is visible now, Salman reprimanded Rubina and told her to not take his support and misuse his name for fame. “Aap apne dum par, apne balbute par famous hoye. Aapko mera support lene ki zarurat nahi hai,” Salman said.

Showing her the story's flip-side, Salman said that Rubina herself showcased her husband Abhinav in low light with her reaction. He added that Abhinav is in the show as an individual and not because of his partner's fame. Aapne inko khud neecha dikhaya hai, by saying, mere husband hai, ye mere sath aaye hai. Mera kaam accha chal raha hai, inka nahi chal raha hai. Isliye ye mere sath aaye hai,” he added. Salman continued saying that Abhinav would have still been a part of the show if he wasn't married to Rubina. He said Abhinav is in Bigg Boss 14 on his own. and that's why he has come with me. “Ye aapke balbute pe is ghar me nhi aaye hai. Ye apne balbute pe aaye hai. Agar ye aapke shauhar nahi hote to bhi apne balbulte pe hi aate,” the superstar said.
Salman concluded saying that everyone is his guest and he isn't insulting or disrespecting anyone. Rubina apologised to Salman.
