Don’t fall for Priya Varrier’s wink; #PyaarEkDhokaHai!

It is Valentine's week and love is the air. No wonder the pollution levels have gone up and singles are suffocating. Not like the Whatsapp forwards weren’t enough that internet had to go another step ahead.  Yes, we’re talking about the much-shared video, pictures and gifs of Priya Varrier. Priya is a Malayalam actress who will be soon seen in a Malayalam film called Oru Adaar Love. It has been only two days since music video of the film, titled ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ was released on YouTube. Well, it is not just the guy who falls for her charming wink, it is the entire internet. And with that, the best of internet creativity has been unleashed.  The video has already hit over five million views and almost 200,000 likes. The film is directed and written by Omar Lulu and the lead roles are played by debutants. It is the love story between these two students.

The initial flame for all of these memes and trolls is all to the credits of All India Bakchod’s new trend #PyaarEkDhokaHai. The hashtag soon gained momentum so much that it is even going to be a ‘movement’. A Facebook event page was created some days after the hashtag was introduced and in no time it became a ‘singles movement’. The event will be taking place in the famous and ‘romantic’ spot of the city, Marine drive on the Valentine’s Day. A number of people will be gathering at this location t yell ‘Pyaar Ek Dhoka Hai.’

In case your feed isn’t that happening and you’ve missed watching the video, here it is: But remember, don’t fall for anything Pyaar Ek Dhoka Hai.
